A hugely influential band. Morrissey’s lyrics and Marr’s guitar playing were a perfect combination.

Marr has made it quite clear he's far from being a fan of Morrissey's 'political' views and therefore it wont be happening. Aside from that, i dont imagine the Smiths have enough of a young fanbase to have picked up on their music to make it worthwhile.

The smiths are extremely popular on tiktok amongst Gen Z actually and songs used on videos more than you would think.

In fact from the 80s on they have found a followimg in the youth of every decade here and overseas
