It's funny how you never hear the same plaintive cry when the subject of Wilfred Zaha (who hasn't been hampered by injuries) comes up.

A quick search of the internet finds similar articles by Soccernews, Bleacher report. We become sensitive to articles negative to our club because we take a greater interest. That is the exact reason both City and United fans think the Manchester Evening News is biased.

Also in fairness more young players have come through at Old Trafford than the Eastlands, of late, so the problem is more acute at City. Providing further legitimacy to articles about young english players at City.
Soccernews and The Bleacher Report are hardly the vanguard of British journalism. Your reference to them to the exclusion of the usual suspects supports, not underlines, my point.

Not really because your response about not hearing this "plaintive cry" in relation to William Zaha was in reference to, and I quote "someone on talksport". I have provided more authoritaive sources, and more influential members of the journalist elite than "someone on talksport" whom we dont even know. Incidentally metronews also did an excellent article about the dangers of young players moving to big clubs and cited the Zaha move.

Your suggestion that anyone writing for the Bleacher Report or Soccernews forms part of the journalistic elite may go some way to explain your consideration that anything produced by Metronews is capable of being 'excellent'.

For the avoidance of doubt, I think I can say with some confidence that any concerns expressed regarding bias in the media, on this or any other similar thread, relate almost exclusively to the output of the national newspapers, Sky, BBC and ITV. Your use of, quite frankly, non-sequitur examples that fall outside that grouping (notwithstanding your nebulous Metronews reference) is, therefore, completely extraneous to the main thrust of the points being raised by those expressing concerns with bias in the media.

Given that, if you can find similar examples in the Mail or the Mirror then fair enough, but until you do, the two websites to which you refer do not serve to advance your argument in any meaningful way.

He livened up any agenda posts/threads though, like an agenda superhero...

Here is one from the Daily Mail as you requested. It has everything you could wish for:

Woodward slamming the phone down and blocking a loan, foul mouth four letter rants by moyes, being singled our for unfair treatment, World cup hopes being ruined. I think you would find it very difficult to find a more critical article in relation to rodwell anywhere in the press.

All clubs suffer negative articles its just as fans it is more noticeable when it relates to the team we support.

Did we win the league last season or did I dream it?
I have to ask as it doesn't seem to be mentioned at all, and now you have the BT Sports ad glorifying the Dippers..!
Even heard Ray Stubbs on talkshite earlier asking why we weren't getting mentioned!
