I remember there being a huge discrepancy when it came to bookings before and after the 1-6. Whether we changed the way we played, or others changed their approach who knows.

I'm not one that believes things even out, and I think its human nature for refs to see different players and teams differently.

What winds me up is when we get bookings for cheap fouls, and you see similar tackles unpunished over and over again. Fabregas and Schurrle in the five minutes after the sending off comes to mind.

Agreed, but I think part of the problem is that we tend to be a bit obvious with our fouls whereas other teams have learnt to be more 'subtle' with their fouling ( particularly in Europe).
We need to be a bit more 'clever' with our fouls.
