If only we had won 10-0 last night. Maybe a few might be a little happier this morning but then again, I'm sure they might have found something......

I normally agree with you on here, but we have finished 3rd, 1st, 2nd & 1st in the last 4 seasons in the toughest league in the world, and we should be competing at the highest level. Instead, not only have we consistently come up short against Munich and Madrid, but the tier below as well, ie.Napoli, Roma, Ajax, Dortmund. Chuck an eminently beatable Barca into the mix as well, and we've mustered 2 wins from 16 starts, and one of those was a dead rubber against a reserve team, and I would contend that not once in any of those 16 games have we looked like the better (or more dangerous) side. The squad balance is poorly equipped for Europe. Immobile central midfielders, little natural width and fuck all pace. We can't press well enough, and we can't counterattack well enough, two absolute staples of European football

Trust, I'm not sat here this morning happy about last night or the last 4 years. I will however take umbrage with some of the hyperbole being posted that we can't beat anyone or if we do it's because they let us which many seem to think is the case.

We can all see what's happened with FFP and the way we have been treated and to a large extent, had our wings clipped and we can also see the way we are being treated on the pitch with shall we be kind and say a lot of very unlucky decisions.

Most want to just ignore that and throw it out as if it doesn't matter.

But we actually had a better window just gone than in 2012 when we had no sanctions and signed Garcia Maicon Wright Sinclair and Nastasic spending almost exactly what we spent this window.

Baring that in mind it's hard not to imagine were FFP not a problem in the summer just gone we'd have made significantly different moves. We effectively let two players go without replacing them (Negredo and Garcia).

Right you must mean, Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern (twice), Dortmund and Napoli because we beat Bayern twice CSKA twice, Valencia twice and Plzen twice. I agree we had bad day away at Ajax and three difficult home draws but 'mediocre' opposition? I don't think so.

I agree, it's actually beyond rawk at times.

The thing that fucks me off is the whinging about injustice as if whinging about it is some kind of solution. And then the constant persecution of those who don't choose to whinge about it. If it bothers anyone so much then get a fooking billboard and go and stand outside UEFA headquarters for a few months shouting about it. Or take up tiddlywinks. But constant moaning on here will achive fuck all and is just childish and frankly rather tiresome. Worse than that, it deflects from a proper debate about what we as a team should be doing to play better. Instead of focusing solely on that, we are distracted by shite about how we would have won if it wasn't for the ref/linesman/crowd/weather/pitch/temperature of the showers.
