Tweet from Ogden before kick off last night. He says he's unbiased.

@MOgdenTelegraph: One good thing about the crowd for tonight's game, it puts the 3,007 attendance v Mansfield in Dec 1998 in the shade. #mcfc

Add in the many dubious decisions that have gone against us and the points we would have got and fuck me, we haven't done too bad all of a sudden.

Way too many bending over and taking it here for my likeing.

UEFA have made it clear we are not welcome and they will do anything to make sure we don't crash the party.

Come on !!!!

Psg also are not welcomed ?

This thread is turning into a rawkish one
Turning?! This thread is a laughing stock.
Mainly due to my incisive comedic observations.

I agree, it's actually beyond rawk at times.

The thing that fucks me off is the whinging about injustice as if whinging about it is some kind of solution. And then the constant persecution of those who don't choose to whinge about it. If it bothers anyone so much then get a fooking billboard and go and stand outside UEFA headquarters for a few months shouting about it. Or take up tiddlywinks. But constant moaning on here will achive fuck all and is just childish and frankly rather tiresome. Worse than that, it deflects from a proper debate about what we as a team should be doing to play better. Instead of focusing solely on that, we are distracted by shite about how we would have won if it wasn't for the ref/linesman/crowd/weather/pitch/temperature of the showers.
Don't see the problem with discussing all aspects of the match, including the refereeing and the crowd. If you only want to discuss the performance of the team then I doubt anyone will have a problem with that.

But the most RAWKish thing on this thread and a few others is the abundance of people trying to censor discussion on the issues they don't want to discuss.

Mate, there are people to whom 100+ posts on this thread represents their life's achievement. To spend hours each day rooting among the shite, then whooping with joy at each hollow triumph. Don't spoil it for them.

The funniest is the guy who comes on this thread and then keeps pronouncing 'so now we have proved it' and 'the clear majority agree' as though this thread is some kind of Question Time Studio or European Court, rather than a bunch of biased football fans with an inability to view the situation with any kind of objectivity whatsoever.

The way I see it is that we know who are the City haters in the media and will largely react accordingly by not buying the publications they work for.

I'm not talking about those some suspect of bias but those such as Ogden who writes match reports on City for a national newspaper yet is a rag who delights in sniping at us whenever the opportunity arises.

If the Telegraph are that dumb that they're happy to have a 'Northern Football Correspondent' who willingly alienates one of the biggest fanbases in the region then that's their look-out.

They mustn't care that they're needlessly missing out on more revenue (because I for one will never buy any paper that snidey little prick works for and I'm assuming I'm not alone) or alligning themselves to the rags might be profitable for them.

Either way it's not worth getting in a tiss about. The Telegraph probably aren't losing any sleep over me not buying their paper nor am I for reading other newspapers instead of theirs.

Keane on the United agenda:

From The Guardian

Paddy Crerand, a member of United’s 1968 European Cup-winning side, was also mocked as an example of the culture Keane believes existed under Ferguson. Crerand is famously partisan but Keane also remembered how Robson had taken issue with him for saying Nani deserved to be sent off in the Champions League last-16 tie against Real Madrid in Ferguson’s retirement season.

“When I look at United there’s just a lot of propaganda now, a lot of nonsense gets spoken, a lot of ex-players now work for the club, they are on contracts, ex-players from the 60s and 70s working for United and they always try to kid you on,” Keane said.

“I had it with all the Nani stuff. My opinion was Nani meant it, he saw the guy coming, and he definitely meant it – the guy deserved to be sent off. But I remember Robbo the next day. Robbo, who works for Man United – great player he was, but he’s employed by Man United so he’s got to comment on Man United, and what do you think he’s going to say? ‘Keaney’ – and I can still remember saying him saying it like that – ‘Keaney was the only one at Old Trafford who thought it was a red card.’ Well, the fucking referee thought it was a red card.
