well, on this point i'd have to say 'welcome to football journalism in the UK'. It's been pro-Liverpool for a long long time, that does not necessarily make it anti-City (though you'd think the two go hand in hand) but the majority of footy journos are Liverpool and United fans as they are in the 30s 40s and 50s and grew up with those 2 teams at the forefront.
I'd love to know if anyone has the patients to see if a pro-City bias underlies footy writing in 20 years to come.
