so this agenda thing.

And there we have it in a nutshell with the Durham articles.
He's entitled to write either article in isolation but it's when you compare the two that the agenda is obvious.
It's not the criticism City fans can't take, it's the lack of a level playing field.
The Durham articles rank alongside the Liverpool love in and criticism of our title win last season as blatant examples of the agenda.

No doubt we'll be rolling the red carpet out, granting him access and hospitality next time his grubby station want it. To ban him would of course be "unprofessional an play into their hands."

These wankers have no credibility on a good day, but ban them from our ground they will have non at all. How can they commentate on something they have not had the privilege to watch.
It is time to ban all these hacks ( just as the rags did) unless they are favourable to City.

Come on City let's sort them out

Not the best articles by Durham but you all do know that he is paid to be a WUM and he is one of the best WUMs out there, don't you?! His job description was ticked off bit by bit when you read the comments on here about the articles, he's done the job he set out to do! but you lot keep falling for it!

Here was a pertinent snippet though
By now, City should be standing tall alongside the very best in Europe. Pellegrini’s great escape from Champions League Group E will be looked on as something special. But they shouldn’t have got themselves into this mess in the first place.
The best defenders aren’t those who always end up making last-ditch tackles, they’re the ones who don’t get themselves into trouble at all.
And at the very top level the same applies to managers.
But what Pellegrini has proved this week is that he can deliver under pressure.
Can't argue with that!

Within a week Durham would be slagging United off (done it many many times in the past) and bigging up City, or slagging off Liverpool and kissing up to Arsenal, before the very next day absolutely laying into Wenger and the Gooner fans. That's Durham's job. He does it well.

People need to get past the notion of journalists being banned from the Etihad. It simply isn't going to happen to any meaningful extent. Don't waste emotional energy on it, is my advice, fwiw.

Criticism is one thing and something any football club should expect; but bile and utter fiction like that is unacceptable.
I suspect if the Club did take action, some of those against banning would find a way of er ahem, adjusting their viewpoint.

Side by side those two articles pretty much sum up TS and The Daily Mail (most red tops as well)
This isn't a one off by someone with his own opinion, it's a fucking hatchet job by somebody who has access to millions of fucking sheep who are too thick to form their own views and rely on dickheads like Durham for their facts.
He's had a hard on for Pellegrini since last year when he wasn't supposedly good enough but managed to win the double. Since then he's been chipping away at him, desperate for him to fail so he doesn't look like the fucktard that he undoubtedly is.
