Yes they are. It comes from 20 years being inferior to man united. They see reds under the bed everywhere they look.

To be fair, your fans are nearly as bad. I did some googling at the beginning of the thread to illustrate how every club thinks the media are biased against them.

We don't all think like this. But consider it pointless to argue with such paranoia.

I don't agree with the agenda so can't speak for them, but I don't think it's about being a victim, rather getting fair coverage.

if you are a new manager with players who are unaware of pl team s abilities you want defensive poor teams early the faster pitches for your players and poor teams. so yours can build confidence and understanding you want to play the better teams in winter when your bigger squad is needed , when you play a team is very very important . utds start was made to give the team a massive boost going into Christmas where they will probably be top and believe they can hold on to it the fixture list is just as important as what type of ref you get against certain teams it can change a season

This debate about fixtures reminded me of the GPC's rant about the list in 2009. If nothing else, it gives an insight into the behind the scenes machinations;

United have still to entertain Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa at home, arguably handing them an advantage in the title run-in, but Ferguson insists that the club are already planning to address the fixture issue with the Premier League ahead of the publication of the 2009-10 fixtures.

Ferguson said: "I've been saying this for a few months, but our programme didn't do us any favours and I think we have been handicapped by the Premier League in the fixture list.

"They tell me it's not planned. I've got my doubts. I'm not saying what they do down there, but next year we will be sending somebody to see how it happens, I can assure you. I just don't understand how you can get the fixtures like that."

United secretary Ken Ramsden will be on the Fixtures Working Party this summer, but the Premier League, who received no complaint from United following the private release of fixtures to the 20 top-flight clubs ahead of publication last June, countered Ferguson's comments by insisting that they have no influence over the random nature of the fixture compilation.

A Premier League spokesman said: "The Premier League fixtures are put together through as random a process as possible.

"The initial list is created by specialist software before going to the Fixtures Working Party, which is made up of representatives from the Premier League, Football League, FA, clubs and supporters.

"The police also approve it before it is sent to the clubs, at which point they can raise any objections they may have.

"There are various factors that go into the structuring of the fixture list – police requests, club requests, as well as involvement in European or Fifa competitions for example – but the overriding factor is the luck of the draw."

Not sure what the makeup of the "Fixtures working Party" is currently but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that a rag official was on there somewhere.

Murdoch...

Rupert Murdoch has stakes in oil and shale oil companies.

Israel Grants Oil Rights in Syria to Murdoch and Rothschild:

There is a lot more out there in relation to Oil and Murdoch and why BskyB have a vested interest in keeping ADUG/Mansour in a negative light.

I just knew it!

What's even more of an eye opener is for someone like Murdoch at frequent opportunities to hold interviews were he diminishes the need for Renewable energy and seems such a non-believer of climate change.

And who's investing alot of finances into renewable energy, and the research into future technology? that's right.... ADUG and Mansour.
I mean, they've even gone a step further in creating a purpose built city to test this kind of technology.

Murdoch hates this as he has invested his money into Shale oil and oil (Genie Energy)

I wouldn't even believe a word about the Israel/Palestine conflict on channels such as Sky news aswell, due to the agreements in oil rights to the companies associated with Murdoch from Israel Govt.

Funny, flip on Al Jazeera Tv and instantly I see a tv documentary about a boat that can run on energy supplied by the sun (not the newspaper hahaha)

Many reasons why MCFC was bought and I'll be honest - I don't think it has anything to do with the glory of winning a trophy in some random sport.
More so the future of renewable energy.

Perhaps they could harness the nervous energy at the Etihad and on this forum during match days? And maybe all the usual flapping over transfer could provide some energy during the summer break?
