Some players who have turned out very good had regular horror injuries earlier in their careers. If this latest comeback leads to another injury then I may say "time to let him go" along with the rest of you.
Brian Kidd:
“If you can get Michael in, then the club wouldn’t want to spend money.
We are a work-in-progress. The owners and the board have had this vision, but grassroots will never be done away with at Manchester City.
Before the set-backs, Michael looked as though he would be one of the top midfielders.
They were making comparisons with Colin Bell, one of the greatest midfield players – that’s some achievement.”

If fit at the start of the season he will be going on loan to Leicester,Leeds or Espanol.
Leicester is preffered by Mike due to rapport with Sven.
Would be great if we had another product from the youth team. Class is permanent.Thaksinssoldier said:guy has the potential to be the english Fabregas.
people on here really have short term memories.
under sven he was amazing and has been badly injured since.
this year he'll shine and we'd be fools to be impatient now.

He had a lot of talent and he pissed it up the wall and for that its a disgrace. If your a professional footballer, you SHOULD NOT drink alcohol, i mean FFS, you have a short career, there is plenty of time when you hang up yer boots to do that.
In times past maybe thats what players did, but now things are different, the football athlete is a different animal........ its called being PROFESSIONAL!
