So what's to be done?

Get Simeone.
He'll keep Kun happy, and will make sure the rest of the squad perform as they should. Every single time. He won't accept bs or lackluster attitudes.
Let him have a few additions to his squad, the kind of players he wants and get rid of unmotivated and not good enough deadwood.
Yes

Go watch how his midfield shields his back 4. They are never as open as we were today. He also doesn't need a fortune to get results.

Are we free from spending restrictions this summer?

No.

UEFA Settlement: "Manchester City agrees to significantly limit spending in the transfer market for seasons 2014/2015 and 2015/2016."

My main worry is that Aguero might get fed up with City.

Only this

Watching him during matches this season he has looked more pissed off than ever

He works hard off the ball and seems frustrated his teammates can't see the game like he does

He is a winner and he'll want to win things long term - all that is dictated by the players around him[/quote]

Something major needs to happen this summer to get the key players, Silva and Aguero to buy back into the project. A mega signing and an inspirational, tactically aware manager for starters.

First I've read that...from City's statement back in May....

The nature of conditions that will result in the lifting of sanctions means that the Club expects to be operating without sanction or restriction at the commencement of the 2015-16 season.

So they have to buy back into a project they have both bought back into this season

Sign Bale.

Get an inspiring, charismatic manager with proven track record of winning trophies.

Sell Fernando.

We're carrying to many luxuries, unless completely on song the likes of silva, Nasri, yaya are way to easy to handle and bypass, we've been sussed it's as simple as that, if they all fire on all cylinders were unplayable, but it's very rare.

This has been much debated. The UEFA statement is crystal clear, and yet so is ours. Seems unthinkable that one side has got it totally wrong, so...

IMHO the only logical conclusion is that UEFA have imposed a transfer limit of (say) £75m and we have thought "that's OK, we weren't planning on spending that much anyway", and therefore we were able to say we'll be operating without restriction.

But whatever the interpretation, the UEFA ruling is clear that we will be restricted in transfer spending for the next two windows.

We've seen with Chelsea how just 2 or 3 astute signings that adress the weaknesses in a team can make all the difference. Matic, Fabregas & Costa have been great buys. Much more effective than if they'd splashed the cash on a Bale.

We need clever signings, not a clear out or an £80m buy.
