There was a rag at work today giving me the "Three One Three One Three One!!!!" routine when I walked in.

All I said was "Well, you have to take your victories where you find them these days don't you. Pitiful really, all things considered."

Hi Macca

Our token office rag says we always start well and go down hill after that. Why are the not getting it?

Hi Pam

I think they are clutching at straws to be honest, but let's face it they have had nearly two decades of trophies so old habits die hard. Must be hard to think there will ever be a change when you don't know that football history has shown that it can happen. It's the ones in their thirties that are the smuggest I find. The ones that started supporting them just as they started to dominate. They are the worst. They have no real concept of history and have nothing else but success.

I'd expect nothing less, the lads are lapping it up that Liverpool are falling apart so it's entirely predictable that you's would do the same.

I'd be wary about getting ahead of myself if I were you though, with Sir Alex we'll always be challengers and I'd expect Mourinho to come in and keep up the same sort of success...it won't last forever but I think it'll last a fair bit longer than you lot are intimating.
My thoughts also, people getting a little carried away by 1 result on bluemoon is nothing new though.

People getting carried away by any result is nothing new in fandom.

Not a cat in hells chance , he only does money, and you haven't got any

Maybe, although I'm not so sure. How much did he spend at Inter? £20m net in two years maybe? We've spent that this summer alone.

Loads of United fans seem to think Jose will come to them, why would he go to a club with very little money, and ageing squad LOL, your next manager will be Moyes or MON nail on guaranteed

LOL.

To be fair I could see him going there for his usual 2 year spell.

He's basicly said it enough times anyway.

Then you are very very wrong - more chance of seeing him at CITY - but I hope not!!

He will not go near a club on the slide with an ageing squad and no money - his comments are 3 years old

Which comments are they? The one's he made this summer? Or the one's he made 3 months before that? What about the ones 3 months before that?

He talks about us a lot, to be honest.

Are you certain that you are a RAG and not a Scouser ??
Never heard in Manc the word "you`s" !!
However I have a few Scouse friends and that is an everyday Scouse word.
Very intrigued and you come from where exactly ??

You's is an everyday Irish word - I live in Liverpool and it's not something I'd hear very often at all.

Ferguson is currently the only reason that ageing team is going to be anywhere near challenging.
He's the glue that holds the whole thing together-on and off the pitch.
He IS the club.
And like Schole,Giggs,VDS and Neville...he can't go on forever.Evans,Wellbeck,Gibson...nowhere near good enough.
Like others on here have noted,Ferguson is looking tired...like it's all starting to take a real toll on him.
Managing united's expectations with no real cash is the sort of management challenge you want in your 40's,not your 70's.

Being forced to fight a reargaurd action against a relentless, highly motivated hungry enemy that you've never had to take seriously before must be difficult for an alcoholic pensioner approaching the end of his career. It''s only natural.

When he goes, the harmony at the club will go with it...and the full effect of the Glazer debt will start to open up the cracks.
Without investment in the billions, and with City looking like the place to be for up and coming players- I really believe that if you carry on treading water as you are you are seriously looking at mid-table in two seasons.

Ignore it all you want, but it's at the gate.

Sir Alex is looking tired? Do go on...

this is all getting pretty silly.

why can't we just have our own forums and that be that?

You don't enjoy rival banter at all? You only like talking about City? I think the miss out on the beauty of the sport as a whole(although you may have an appreciation for certain aspects on a far deeper level than me, as is usually the case).

No I do, I just think having board bickering squabble wars over it is a bit sad 2bh, and at the end of the day the only time I really give a shit about United is derby day, or when an idiot from your ranks likes the sound of their uneducated voice too much, otherwise although I like to see you lose I don't feel the need to go searching on redcafe for anything stupid somebody's written on here, christ some of the stuff on here's bad enough.

Ah, I agree with that.

The amount of time people spend searching on opposition forums (Rawk, here mainly) to laugh at people's reactions on there is embarrassing...and then the next day the exact same people will be saying how we're going to finish 4th because we've lost a game!

Imbecilic.

The way I see it is either you are a cock no matter who you support or you are ok no matter who you support.

To be fair I laugh just as much at the stupidity of our fans on here sometimes as I do at rival fans on rival forums.
