Great opportunity for KDB to find some of his form back and kick off a positive bounce
Against my better judgement I am following suit and going for a win. Part of the reason is because as you say we might get a bit more space to play, partly because they don't have long to prepare for the game and partly because I am expecting a positive response to the recent poor performances and a defeat although not unlikely is unthinkable.I've changed my vote to win. I think these will try to attack which means if the Sterling/Mahrez/Jesus combo break with convention and score more than one, we'll win.

I agree. Seeing Soton against Arsenal, I believe they might try to play more expansive and attacking compared to other weaker teams on the table. If we keep our defense watertight, we have a good chance of coming out on top.I've changed my vote to win. Pretty good except for Sterling. He looks shot to me. Would like to see him benched for a bit.________________Ederson_____________

Perfect game for us IMO,the opportunity to show everyone we aren't a spent force.
This game will tell us plenty.

Back to high intensity City
Anyone watch Liverpool v Spurs tonight. The intensity those two teams played with vs City. We need to get back to that. If players aren't fit drop them, and get them fit.
Very strange seeing a Pep side play games with zero intensity but it has become our hallmark now. We have to sort this out.
There is no way Southampton are gonna come out and attack us.
It will be another every man behind the ball and hit us on the break set up.
Just punished myself & watched highlights of a few of our games this season.
we are playing like it’s the end of the season & the manager is leaving! Not good. The other observation is we are playing the same way constantly with no variation even when it’s clearly not working.
the biggest issue is energy & pace it’s incredibly slow. Serious lack of a goal scorer is ridiculous with the size of our club. Jesus works his heart out but he’s not a striker.
going to be a tough game this & don’t see anything for us.
Wouldn’t bank on it.i think its a win with this one,we have been lucky with other results in the last week to keep us in it, not to distant from liverpool if you look at it as if we win our game in hand and turn them over at anfield the defecit is only 2 points as it stands, but we must now turn things around from this match onwards to have any hope, carry on as we are and we wont finnish in the top 4
