Southampton post match thread

Id like to think that might be true, but I don't buy that.

Those that were great two years ago have aged, some quicker than others. Some are clearly not as good as they need to be.

And some haven't replaced those players with new, younger, more ambitious talent .....

Your assuming too much mate in my opinion .

Why do you think it's nailed on he will pull trees up with the squad he will inherit ?

I never said he would pull up trees, though I think he will get more out of the ones he keeps than Pellers ever could. What I said is if his 3 years here is him building us an amazing squad I would gladly take that.

not that keen on Guardiola are you ? Can you tell me why ?

Todays performance sums up exactly why Pellegrini has been sacked , this Premiership campaign has been an absolute shambles , and he cannot motivate players , the players pick and choose which games they want to compete in.

So it's personal? Doing the guy a disservice if you ask me.

Disservice in the sense that I am questioning his professionalism and his committment to the City job?

If he wins vs Madrid, he will be taking City along with him to the next level as well.
As for Top 4, it is still in our hands with that Arsenal home game.

F*ckin hell, did you really just say that? What an absolute simpleton.
8 players rested today to leave us fresh for Wednesday, and you don't even give a fuck!? If you don't truly give a fuck about Real Madrid in the Champs League semi then why the fuck do you care about beating Arsenal and finishing top 4, i.e. qualifying for next years Champions League!?
Yes, it was a shite performance today but half of todays team will be gone in the summer. We can certainly beat Arsenal next weekend and, thanks to today's team selection, we'll have a right fucking go at Real.

This^

Your a fan of him then, I can tell :)

I was actually. I supported him for two seasons even though I thought he was very disappointing last season. I thought he would start off the system which Pep would continue. Even at the start of this season I was behind him on most things but starting to have severe doubts when he farted around pre season particularly putting Denayer next to Cameron Humphreys v Real Madrid. Suddenly dawned on me tgat raher tgan JD being tested for the first team, he wasn't watching either with a view to them playing, just filling a hole. He put Barker centre forward in another game, same thing. Lopes barely got on at all then gone.

I recon now, he's hoodwinked me same as the club.

So yes, great bloke ;)

I lived for some time in the Valencia region, a friend of mine from a place called Monovar tells me Pallegrini forced Negredo out of City and, never spoke to him for months before he left, something to do with Negredo having personal problems. My point being, forget the nice charming guy thing. In that part of Spain he is not regarded at all!
