Platini has put the wind up us and we´ve had to swallow. Like Chavs and PSG we should have paid fookin lip service to the coont. Having said that a manager who can´t motivate a title winning squad has to be on a very slippery slope imho - and they do NOT look motivated at all tonight

Just a terrible first half. I'd be worrying about 4th place right now. We need a win or at least a draw to keep an advantage of the others. Absolutely no chance of the title on this current form.

Scoring one goal doesn't change anything. Different between him and Aguero/Tevez is that both Tevez and Aguero are simply out of form, Tevez carried us on his own and made us break the top four. Then Aguero came in the season after and ripped the entire league apart. Dzeko is a difficult player to analyse simply because you can only pick out moments with him... it was the same with Adebayor. His game against Arsenal where he scored and went the entire field to celebrate in front of them was his moment. Dzeko's had two memorable for me, the header against QPR and his performance against Spurs away last year on first day of the season.

We never got the same player from Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg played to Dzeko's strengths we never have.

I wouldnt want to if it means more route one.

that's not how wolfsburg played with dzeko

We've played badly, yes...

But why do we have to slag each other and the players off?

Let's criticize (not slag), be civil, and try to get behind the team.

Some of the comments (especially about Nasri) have bordered on hate crime.

Want a job?

You are spot on, it appears that some people lack any form of self control, it's embarrassing

Does it have a hazard wage?

I get frustrated (I was overly optimistic about this match, as I admitted after the second goal) just like everyone else but let's be honest with ourselves: we have come so far that we are angry that we're only going to finish SECOND or THIRD in the league! Five years ago those thoughts would be proceeding a very early morning squint at dawn's light through the bedroom's east window.

We can be frustrated but this putrid spirit has to go!

Well, if it wasnt for Dzeko this game might have already been in the books...but hey-ho, who gives a fuck - I agree with you, cant wait until he's gone...doesnt deserve the shit he's getting on here.

Utter, utter shite in every department. That was hard to watch as i wouldn't say Southampton are playing particularly well, just us playing particularly shit.

Every one of those players on the pitch needs to give their heads a fucking wobble.

This result now depends on Mancini making the correct decisions.
They are just playing as a team with commitment and organisation - we on the other hand look like a rag-tag team of clueless individuals - the question is why?

It's not just this game, we seem to bring this on ourselves unable to adapt against teams who press us hard.

I dont like to say we have been found out but a plan B is needed for the second half.

Difficult to see if its the players or managerial strategy causing these challenges. Zabba/Clichy/Silva/Aguero and Dzeko are dragging us through games atm...
