No he wasn't,he was going apeshit.I know this because I nearly pissed myself at his manic gesticulating while Platt stood by with his mouth agape with no idea what way to look.

Visions of when your manager croaks it on the touchline.....

Always with the death.Enjoy MOTD.

It won't be long....he looked half dead on Football Focus today. Asda tomorrow for some ice cream.

BARRYS REACTION TO THE OWN GOAL IS WHAT SHOULD REALLY BE ASSESSED IN THIS THREAD AS THAT IS MOST INDICATIVE OF THE PROBLEMS IN THE TEAM!!!.

The spirit of the team, or what is left of it, is poisoned and players are now revealing who they really are, i know its abit cynical of me but thats what i think.

Man city has been in a very complex and fragile situation for the past 3 or 4 years and I believe we have done well to be this successful so far. Mancini deserves a lot of credit for this.

Next season will herald another era in the club.

Bad day, Sunderland outplayed us and some poor performances finished the game. Two reliables called Barry and hart - oh dear !

Its all Mancini mindgames.. lul the scum fookers into a false sense of security..

Everton will no doubt get sommat at swamp central tomoz..

its been poor all season not just the last 2 games, its so frustrating when you know we have the best squad in the premiership, we are punching well below our weight and its down to manager selection and poor tactics. you have to play the best players in their best positions but 47000 fans know that , the manager seems to be the odd one out. I cant work out his agenda

That was horrific, inept and a bit worrying the players seemed apathetic.

We got out passed by Southampton and it highlighted our slow build up play and lack of guile. Everyone has cottoned on to our style of play, and adapted, our Manager hasn't.

Granted two massive mistakes contributed but they looked like Brazil at times all down to quick direct passing and fast counters going for the jugular.

Leagues gone I was still optimistic beforehand, now we're looking the other way.

The players looked they were on the take today.

None of them wanted to be out there that's for sure.

Trust me Southampton were not that good we were absolutely a disgrace and completely gave them the midfield and had absolutely no plan or means how to take the ball out of defence into attack with any method or precision at all.

We would have been thrashed by a League 1 side today.

poor all round today, absolutely nothing went for us. gave the ball away more times than i can remember. they pressed and pressed us didn't stop until the final whistle, you would have thought they were fighting for the title tonight and we were in a relegation battle. anyway looking to the next game now...cant be any worse than today.....can it?
some people on here need their heads wobbling and remember where we have come from!! we're going through a bad spell at the moment, every team does, every team looses to teams they wouldn't expect to in the season. unfortunately for us it couldn't have come at a worse time.
CTID!!!

I am sick of hearing "remember where we have come from"......small club mentality......if youre happy with that then you accept second best

I don't except it but in a season there are games like that

Million and one things wrong with that tonight.

Lots covered in the previous posts. Someone posted we should have started 4-5-1 as we're light on forwards. We may have had a chance doing that.

Bob looks a dead man walking in that interview.

What I will say is that Soton are dogshit, we were even worse today a real Lincoln away type game but they are really piss poor which makes it even worse.

One positive not mentioned is that Kun put effort in and was one of our better players.

Got to put some effort into the cup now. Another performance like that next week and it'll not be pretty after the game.

You taking the piss ? Southampton were streets ahead of us today. Gave Everton a good game and nearly took points off the scum.
