Being five up from the first leg, it was never going to be a great game especially against a side that played, until the last few minutes, a 5 5 0 formation. Crossing the half way line for them was seen as a major achievement. It was always going to be about getting through the 90 minutes without bookings and injuries which is what we achieved. CJ Egan- Riley looks a tidy player although it's hard to judge him on last night but everything he did was good, same with McAtee. One thing that annoyed me again last night was the standard of the referee, how can UEFA think it is any good is beyond me. Books three players for jumping in the air but then misses a stonewall penalty on Jesus and then another possible one although I think it was just outside the area but even so he didn't even blow for a free kick. And as for the transport system around the ground, it's getting worse and City need to manage the flow of people and cars so much better.
