What a position to be in going into a 2nd leg, let’s hope for a win and no injuries. Pep played a strong team against leipzig which was less important than this so I think we will see a pretty strong team.

It may be sold out but very much doubt it will be anywhere near full
Why though? Isn't this different to league games where if a season ticket holder doesn't go for whatever reason, their seat still counts...
How many season ticket holders are on the champions league scheme I wonder and therefore like league games, the seat will have been 'sold' but nobody's sitting in the seat.

Don't really get your point

What I'm saying is that there'll be a lot of people on the CL scheme who for whatever reason decide that with the match being a dead rubber aren't going to bother going tonight

I'm lucky that I'm 4 miles away but if I had to take the afternoon off work and look at a 3 hour journey each way, I'd be thinking twice

That's exactly what I'm doing. Got the tickets before the first leg, was secretly hoping for a 1-1 or 0-0 first leg selfishly as there would be something riding on the return leg for a better atmosphere and would make driving 3/4 hours there and back worth it. I would love to live 4 miles away!

18/1 for Sporting to win the game tonight against a much changed city side who are 5-0 up from 1st leg and are through to the next round is just to tempting not to stick a tenner on.
I feel I just can't lose either way (unless it's a 0-0 bore draw).
City win I'm buzzing.
Sporting win, we'll still be through and I'll be nearly £200 up

Shift make defence. Even more important to put pressure on them starting from our forewords.

Can’t see us getting beat by 5+!
Like to see we keep our momentum going.

I trust every squat player so let’s see what comes out the tunnel as our picked 11.
We don't normally concede 5 at home do we? Leicester beat us 5:2, seems ages ago that but it was last season wasn't it?
Happened a few times at Maine Road, Leeds in the FA Cup and Arsenal (2002?)and Liverpool (early 80s) put 5 past us. Those 3 teams were a lot better than us at the time ofcourse.
Although I'm one of the FOCs who still think we'll draw when we're 4:0 up with 10 mins to go (it never leaves you!) Going out tonight would take some doing!!

Same - heading off shortly
