Not sure id go with the strongest team possible at all. KDB and Cancelo are both a booking from being banned aren't they? I'd also heavily rotate those who played on sunday. Gundogan in, Sterling, Jesus, Zin, Fern should all start for me. We are 5-0 up, take the opportunity to rest players and rotate and maybe play a couple of youngsters. A full 8 days rest for some players will pay dividends.
But we are already 5-0 for goodness sake. If Pep doesn't give a few Academy players a chance now, he never will, especially with the threat of suspension looming over some players.
Yes i should have said strongest team available/possible, injuries/future suspensions pending. I agree not a good idea to play guys 1 yellow away from suspension. But i stand by not making any changes until/if we are one up after 30 minutes or still 5 ahead at half time.

So for me; Carson, Stones, Fernandhino, Academy player, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Rodri, Bernardo, Jesus, Grealish, Sterling.
Would love to see Mcatee, Delap, Kayky, etc given at least 45 minutes.

I'll probably watch it because it's city but im lying if im not interested in PSG vs Real...
Picture in picture?

I honestly don`t expect much from this game seeing all of the boys who started on Sunday ran themselves into the ground for the cause and may be a little too knackered.
Usually positive thinking from myself, but I`m letting my head rule my heart today and going for a 0 2 loss tonight.

Honesty I couldn't care less. Whatever team we put out if we let slip a 5-0 lead we deserve nothing. No more injuries, no more suspensions and just get through, nothing else. My interest in this competition is less than the charity shield but of course I understand why it's important to many.

I'm attending the match and recording it. Need to be there to cheer on the Blue men when they are at home. :-)

The Boys in Blue never give in, they fight to the end, Come on City Come on City. Show 'em lads, show 'em all.

Please don't be complacent lads get on and score another 5 or so goals. Remember those of us at home didn't get to see in person your magnificent prowess over there. :-)

No way pep will allow a loss tonight. It's not in his mentality. Momentum is key on all fronts. Do I expect an emphatic home victory? Probably not, given the inevitable rotation, but I'm still going for a 2-0 home win, and 7-0 aggregate.

It'd be great to see some of the academy lads get a run out tonight. It's basically a nothing game (short of us losing by 6!). The likes of Wilson-Esbrand, Egan, Lavia, McAtee, Palmer or Delap (depending on availability). Even if they only got 15-20 minutes at the end of the game. Not sure Pep will see it that way, mind. And he knows a tad more about this management lark than I do.

You're a great fan EB I wish my enthusiastic was still as strong for attending live games but sadly it's not, although I have still got a season ticket. Night games were off the agenda ages ago due to crap transport getting home in particular. It's strange as I wouldn't miss a game when we were crap no matter what the hardships. I'd use the getting old excuse but I can't as you put me to shame lol. Good on you.

Did I mention Pep would allow it ? Fatigue and an understrength squad could be the only thing that lets us down.

Thank you @paulchapo i just love watching the Blues especially these days when I can’t get to aways. I did have a couple of matches over Nov/Dec when I couldn’t make it so I know where you’re coming from. I’m lucky as I travel on the Eccles coach and straight back to my little car. Keep up the good work. :-)
