Also, I was really good mates with a leading football agent, who’s client list at one point was among the best in the land. We had some wild times together.
We fell out one time too many, and then it was never the same after that. My fault more than anything for being too sensitive, but my life was falling apart at that time. We still ‘speak’ occasionally, but it’s never quite the same.
Went to his wedding at Gleneagles in 2005 which was amazing. Sat on the same table as Mark Bright, Michelle Gayle, Des Walker and Dion Dublin for the wedding reception, who were all very nice. Except Des.
Des is never nice.
