If its inconvenient for City, I'm sure he'll say its fit, even if they subsequently plough it after the NFL game.

The pitch inspection will probably be done by Stevie Wonder anyway.

What about those who had already bought train tickets and accommodation as the fixture had been announced for TV - normally a sign the game is going ahead.

The Rags game could have been left at it's original time, there are already two games on Sunday at 1:30, why not just change one of them to 4pm to ensure Sky get the two matches? Palace v Arsenal would be just as entertaining as Rags v Everton and not many fans would be inconvenienced by the shift.
 
If anyone hasnt tried it, give trainline a tweet on twitter or an email they've given us a full refund for the spurs train tickets, fair play to them.
 
This is comical, Spurs should be held accountable here and the fact that City have accepted and agreed to this is even worse.
 
Not impacted financially but the move to a Monday does mean im unlikely to get to go now when i otherwise would have but i feel theres too much blame being directed towards City for this, It's not a case of city being too soft, they're trying to cooperate as best they can. It's in our interests to get the game played that week, last thing we need is an extra fixture to fit in towards the end of the season when we will likely already have other games to squeeze in due to cup runs, what can city realistically do if spurs decide to be tight pricks? Can't exactly refuse to play unless fans are adequately reimbursed, sure City could cover the costs themselves but its not on City to do that and nobody should expect that, the free coaches are a positive enough gesture. The emphasis should be on Spurs to offer compensation to fans and failing that, the people in charge should be taking a much tougher stance and be imposing huge penalties on Spurs
