Spurs (a) - Post Match Thread

Great result, real grit in the 2nd half to dig in for a difficult first 15 minutes of the 2nd half but then created some good chances. Poor Gundogan was getting it pre-match, some pathetic comments from a good few on here but he played very well and tucked that penalty away superbly....solid at the back from all 4.
What a statement after the last week...
Gundog back at Wembley after his goal against the Rags in CL Final 2009..........played well tonight. He must love Wembeeers.

Now that's a performance I was after & should do more of especially in cup competitions.

A perfect balance of taking risks going forward at the right time & then making it difficult for the opposition to get back into the game with numbers back at the right time.

Also liked the small details which were missing from our most recent performances of taking the sting out of the game at right times when Spuds were trying to build up momentum. Either by playing keep ball or taking our time with the throw ins & goal kicks.

I'm a big fan of Son but a squad player for us.
Ericsson not good enough for our midfield. He has been poor this season bar the last few weeks.
Mancini tried to sign him but he turned us down because he thought he wouldn't get a game.
We are a levelabove most Spurs players now.
The first and last half hour tonight proved that.

Great win after a tough 10days....great to see the lads fight and get the 3 points....1 more!!!! ;) Go City!!!!
