If it's true that Cancelo was having a negative impact on the dressing room then him going might have lifted the mood a bit and hopefully that'll translate onto the pitch against Spurs.

Sorry you're mixing arguments. Nobody is talking about difficulty of goals. If we win 3-0 and he scores a hat trick, then take him out and you start from 0-0. And Mahrez is then taking your pen btw :)

Similarly if he aint there vs Spurs who scores that goal to make it 2-2? Maybe Raheem is still there - good luck with that.

I am going of the facts that we haven't done well in their new stadium.
They will be smarting over their recent loss to us & they were able to rest most of their 1st team v Preston in the fa cup .
Hopefully they prove me wrong .
