We need to freshen things up a bit, guys must be shattered physically after last night and we play at 12.30 on Saturday...bloody nonsense.
I'd drop Ederson, been below par for weeks now. I've never understood the love-in with him, it's like he is beyond criticism despite the fact he doesn't actually make many big saves. The first 2 goals he lost to Son over both games were poor. Give Muric a chance.
Bring in Danilo and Otamendi at the back for Laporte and Walker.
Start Fernandinho in place of Gundogan as he will be fresher.
Have Leroy starting ahead of David Silva
Might even take Jesus over Kun to start....bring Kun on if things are not going as planned.

FFS - Who did Spurs play last game, are they not physically knackered?

It's not an easy call. Might be easy for Pep. He might know his team now, but I don't know what is the best side. Delph has missed a lot of games but he is probably fit??? Mahrez is fresh but low on confidence. If it was a one off game it would be an easy decision but it's not it's a sandwich between CL QF and the Derby.

This is the decisive week that puts us in a position to do the Treble and make history or it is the moment when we lose the title.

I wouldn't want to play the same players again and then call on them again at Utd. That would be suicidal. Question is how many changes can we make. I think I would play Mahrez, Jesus and Sane. We have to have faith in our players and back them. It would be great if Zinchenko returned to training now but it's probably unlikely. Maybe Utd is a possibility.

I agree it is a big dilemma. The thing with Saturday is it is an early kick off and we have four full days rest before the derby. There will be some changes but every game now is a must win there is no room for error

Ederson

Walker
Stones
Laporte
Danilo

Fern
Bernardo
Kdb

Sterling
Jesus
Sane

Lets get the win then full strength till the end of the season

I agree, but there must be something happening in Stones' training or personal life that has Pep feeling like he's not in the right place to start right now.

Best thing to do would be start Laporte IMO because we need to reinforce our faith in him after last night's horror show. Could be anyone starting next to him but I'd be surprised if it was Stones.

Possibly. Stones recently split up with his long-time partner and they have a little girl together?

Vinny showed last night he's still got it.

You disagree with this journalist's comment then?
"Faced with a team as slick and quick as Spurs why did Guardiola pick Kompany, his most cumbersome defender, instead of the more mobile John Stones...Kompany noticeably immobile at this level these days, a single huge stone Easter Island head stumbling around on legs that have all the snap and spring of a pair of bamboo garden poles."

The 'journalist' should stick to fucking tiddlywinks.

He's clearly come prepared with that particular comment over his physical appearance, even if he would have been man of the match.
