Yep, counter attacking will do us here - Pep can’t compute - defo his Achilles heel.
We rely on 100% possession - hoof the ball up, and yes PLAN B is needed at times!

More than 1 strategy is needed here, teams have taken a while, but, slowly come around and many now adapt to Peps style - defend/press/wait for mistake/counter - we can have all the possession we want - the onion bag needs filling NOW.

back then though i felt we were just hard done by in those games, especially the spurs CL home game. We were electric in that one, just sucker punched by Son.

At the moment, there just seems to be a lack of confidence in the side, lack of chances being created, players badly out of form and not really much clue as to how we should be playing.

Arsenal have just gone away to spurs and attacked them from the off, we need to do the same, this is our fortress and we need to impose ourselves on them, a good result/performance is whats required to reignite our season, and i think we will do just that, keep the faith blues.

Spurs will play 5-4-1 and just try to counter. The longer the game goes on and we don’t score, We will probably get more frustrated coming off the back of two defeats and probably try to force our attacks too much and I think Spurs will probably get comfortable

At least an early goal can force them to play

knowing how they set up and us coming off a defeat, they are possibly the last team I would want to face next, even if they are coming off a loss.

Could be a pretty frustrating game, and I would happily take a very scruffy 1-0 win

The 2 goals we conceded weren't hoof and run though.
The "offside " goal was a defence splitting pass when our defenders were high up the pitch and we should have defendeded the Rashford goal much better.

The offside issue is deflecting on some very poor play from us .As soon as the game started to open we lost our shape.
