Such performances against Arsenal instead would be beneficial. 180 minutes against them would not only give us 6 points massive but crush their morale in succession. I hope that performance comes but doubtfulHoping for a crazy atmosphere at the Etihad and a City 2-1 Lpool 18/19-esque performance. Its now or never Pep…
Why do people keep putting Alvarez out on the wing in perspective lineups? Has he ever played out there before?
Yes. We lost to Liverpool, United, and Liverpool again back in 17/18
I think it clouded even mine that's why I went and checked lolMy bad. You are correct squire. Memory clouded by one too many Talisker's. Should've checked.
back then though i felt we were just hard done by in those games, especially the spurs CL home game. We were electric in that one, just sucker punched by Son.I remember the next game after that run was Spurs at home and I was confident they'd turn us over. Foden scored the winner in a 1-0. That was the last time I've been as down on our form as I am now.

The 2 goals we conceded weren't hoof and run though.so more hoof it and run against us thursday night doesnt bode well

sorry i missed the intricate passing move before both defence splitting passes one of which the defence thought they'd played a great defensive lineThe 2 goals we conceded weren't hoof and run though.
The "offside " goal was a defence splitting pass when our defenders were high up the pitch and we should have defendeded the Rashford goal much better.
You must have.sorry i missed the intricate passing move before both defence splitting passes one of which the defence thought they'd played a great defensive line
any way kane flick on Son 1 nilYou must have.
The offside issue is deflecting on some very poor play from us .As soon as the game started to open we lost our shape. The 2 goals we conceded weren't hoof and run though.

Isint it about time our tactics against spurs involve stopping Son on the left?
