Hope you don't start it again. Usually starts with all in here please. At least we usually get to the 3rd or 4th post before all the negatives.
FFS we won 4 -1, Sergio back to his best and yes a bit sloppy at times, but overall, a thoroughly enjoyable football match and an even
better win.

Awwww, you start it next time then.

Fuck me there are some slapped arises in here these days.

Did you read all my post because I pretty much share your sentiments or did you just feel like having a needless rant?

No thought you started the thread a bit negative and I don't really care whether you think I'm a slapped arse or not.

I agree with him, you're a ****.

Wife thinks so too.......definitely not my day :-)

Just got back. Cracking game that. Bit knackered as not long out of hospital. City can be better than any medicine! Need a lie down though!

Thought we lacked 'control' and had little composure in our defensive phases.

Going forward we were excellent which is impressive given we were without our 2 'attack minded' full backs, yaya, fernandinho (for some of the game), dzeko and nasri.

The midfield 3 of Fernando, lampard and Milner looked and felt very unfamiliar and there was little cohesion and identity in that area of the pitch. Fernando had a very mediocre game and looked unfit IMO.

Aguero was phenomenal. Unplayable.

Hart had a brilliant game and is looking back to his very best. Long May that continue.

3 important points against a decent team with an unfamiliar line up.

Good result in the end but was difficult to call at 2-1.

Sagna and clichy both unimpressive, Silva had a poor game by his standards and we are yet to hit top form, but a very important 3 points with those dirty rags next up.

Re: Lloris

He's the only world class player Spurs have.

Man City have about 6 world class players including Joe Hart.

Good win and great going forward. Aguero superb as was Milner and Hart.

We were sloppy at times, Fernando was crap and the defence a bit shaky and at 2-1 it really could have still gone either way.

If we play like that offensively every game and tighten up we will have no problems. Play as sloppily as that in some games and we will have some problems!

If that was Joe Hart that let in Sergios first and last goals he would be slagged to fuck on here.
In what way did Lloris keep spurs in the game exactly?

Perhaps............some of the superb saves he made??

He had no chance with Aguero's fourth and Lampard was arguably blocking(interfering) his view of the first.

He is a genuinely world class talent,i'm not sure why you have such a bee in your bonnet?

Good news !!! Αguero is about to reach his world class standards...and Ηart seems to be in an excellent form...

7 wins in a row are needed from now on for all competitions ...let s do it

It was never a penalty on Lampard and the Spurs one with Demi would have been a soft free kick, never mind a penalty. It wasn't a red card either, a stonewall pen, but not a red. Kabul should have been carded for that assault on Silva but nothing, yet Navas got a really soft yellow.
We deserved the win, but the ref was appalling.

Correct. I'd have been livid if the Lampard pen had been given against us. Moss evened it up with their penalty. He isn't a prem standard ref, that was probably one of his better performances.

Premier league defenders up and down the country will be soiling themselves at that performance by kun, world class. Special mention for Jimmy and Joe. Both managers won't be happy with their team's defending after that game.

Aguero simply cannot continue to miss easy chances like his penalty and the rebound today. It'll haunt us if he does.

RAG!!!

Not likely sunshine. I went to the two Tottenham cup finals, the Full Members Cup final, the play off against Gillingham, York City away, stood on the hill at Blackburn, EB Streymur, Mansfield at home and the tarts' cup final the other night. I'm a bigger blue than most on here.

We made it hard for ourselves by being very sloppy at the back, great result at the end especially Aguero scoring 4, and credit to Spurs they came to play, but Hart made the difference when it counted by saving the penalty and making several important saves, hope lampard bounce's back quickly from the injury, Fernando had an off day, but we got the job done............well done guys.............
