Would you pay to go and watch Burnley?Burnley are giving tickets for their last home game against the dippers for free. Great gesture & exactly what should be happening across the board.

They get very little revenue from tickets. It's about £6m in a full year. Virtually all their revenue comes from TV. So they're not really cutting off their nose.Fair play to Burnley. Hardly the most wealthy club in the world so giving something back to their supporters in this way is commendable IMHO.
Anyway, they'll make a shedload from the pie sales.

Yes it is.I know that, as do many of us on here.
Sometimes it's not a bad thing to give a little credit when it's due. It's the gesture that matters IMHO.
We don’t get much from tickets either but we won’t be doing that. They get very little revenue from tickets. It's about £6m in a full year. Virtually all their revenue comes from TV. So they're not really cutting off their nose.
Especially when they have fuck all to play forWe don’t get much from tickets either but we won’t be doing that.
We get something like 10 times Burnley's ticket revenue. I've a good idea what our prices will be and they'll be very fair.We don’t get much from tickets either but we won’t be doing that.
£55M is significant amount of money. This was our match day revenue in 2018/19 (the last normal season)We don’t get much from tickets either but we won’t be doing that.
That would cover about 2 months staff wages, so other sources are a lot more important, which is all I’m saying.£55M is significant amount of money. This was our match day revenue in 2018/19 (the last normal season)
