lets hope we don't have a mad 15 minutes like the liverpool game in the champions league last season and end up 3 down in a blink of a eye ???? also we need a fair set of officials and with VAR maybe we have a back up ???? nothing will surprise me with city team we have a great bunch of players and we can do the unthinkable and win anywhere. its just the uefa officials that scare me and to beat the system we must be unplayable and score 3 or 4
but whatever happens this season and tonight we are a great side and you will not see me giving it out and moaning after the game and digging out players and manager, because am so blessed to be a manchester city fan and so lucky to be watching the best football being played by anybody in england and manchester city long and sometimes painful history

Have a feeling for a 3-1 or 4-1 and finishing it off early. so then we can play and rest a few for the home leg and the busy schedule..
Yeah hopefully you're right mate but it would be pretty unusual to start conserving energy at only 1-0 in a cup semi.

If fully fit I'm sure Pep would go with Vinny too but it's almost impossible for him to be fully fit so it would be a huge gamble. Otta and Stones seems the more obvious pairing.

I'm pretty sure that's not the consensus on this forum. But hey, it's a free country, people can say what they like, so long as it's not racist, sexist or something else —ist.
Personally, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we lost the first leg by, say, 2-1. But I think having the two legs and taking it back to our place gives us the edge, frankly.
