Squad rotation for the run in.

We will make some changes for Chelsea, for sure. But the wholesale changes will happen against Villa and Palace. I know that’s going to freak some people out, but what choice do we have really? We have to take the risk to achieve greatness. I’m all for it.

There can be no passengers from here on in. Whoever's picked for whatever comp needs to play out of their skin.

Pep has been rotating 6 players a game for ages. 1 defensive lapse to give Leeds the lead & the red card in strange way helped them. They probably don't put 10 behind the ball if they have 11 on the pitch.

Some people on here want to sacrifice an fa cup semi to go strong against villa in a league game we can lose. This isn't Pellegrini who sacrificed an fa cup semi by playing all the kids to put in such a limp display against Real 2 days later.

Berny is the only attacking player who has played the whole of both Leeds & Dortmund so I expect us to go strong on Saturday.

OK, maybe not this exactly but all the ones who played in Dortmund (and will play at Wembley again) can get a rest just like they did against Leeds ...

Then we go again for the next two games with the same/similar line-up ... for Spurs in the Final and PSG in first leg SF.

Rotation will be similar to 18/19 run in. Pep isn’t going to risk the league is he, he’s obsessed with winning it always says it’s the most important title

Well by my maths we could play another 12 games.
People have to remember that's a lot, equivalent to nearly a third of a standard prem season.
Its unrelialistic to think all the bug guns will start in all of the games.
It is 12 games if we do the unmentionable, but 10 of those games are in the next five weeks and then, I think, we'd have a clear week before the FA cup final and then another clear week before the CL final, so rotation wouldn't be an issue at that stage. I don't think Pep takes risks because I think he has more faith in the squad than many who have posted on this thread and so I don't think we'll see too many players rested/rotated in the semis because fully rested players for matches that might not take place is would be an awful way to end, as GPC knows after the FA cup semi of 2010. But I'm also convinced he'll view the 5 weeks as a whole, make his plans and then tweak them as circumstances demand. Beyond that I'll leave it to Pep - I'm too much a bag of nerves.
