can i ask one question??y is everyone ignoring the fact that there director was on radio tonight saying higuian is not for sale??i think weve made an interest in all of our stories today but nothing massive has happened regarding them

Nope. I think you are spot on and I do not believe for a second that Madrid would be stupid enough to sell Higuain... and even if they were I don't think he would want to leave Madrid for us, sorry just being realistic here.

I understand what you are saying but this is football and i dont think its as simple as hes not for sale and then we back down. Arsenal have said Fabregas is not for sale a number of times but he could still move, tranny was not for sale 2 years ago and look now hes at Real. Things happen that makes clubs change their mind and if Perez tells Mourinho theres not much money unless he sells then he will sell players who will attract the biggest fees who he thinks can be replaced and if you think that he needs to get rid of a striker to bring in Milito or whoever his target is then he has to sell Benzema or Higuain. Who out of the 2 is going to fetch more money?

Because we arent all as negative as you. 1st of all hes has no say in what happens at Real because Perez dictates who goes and who comes in. Do you not think that maybe we have told Real to keep it quiet and say hes not for sale so less clubs will make an approach for him so we will have a clear run to try and get him. Cmon mate think positive, we are the richest club in the world and we are on the way up
they constantly lie through their teeth so i would take what valdano said on radio with a pinch of salt,as have repeated a couple of times already we our in talks so anything is possible ,we either get him or we dont ....

I think the reality will be whether MOURINHO wants him to stay or not, not the owner - Mourinho takes little shit and the new owner is not going to piss him off on day 1, so if Jose does not want him then he will be off, and vice versa

first of all i hope ur right and i am completely wrong, dont see him here, and yes perez is in charge but this guy is like the marwood of city, deals with players in and out and is probably higuains biggest fan from what iv read of him.i used to take ssn as the word of god but not anymore, the more i watch the more shit they seem to maake up.

Iv also noticed something with ssn,if the story is true and they know it to be 100% true it will the main headline when its show just begins, these stories were not and i had to wait until about 7 minutes in to hear about them and they said very little....if these were all true then surely ssn would have a huge build up to it as its a potential 100mil plus deal, one that wud be bigger than robie or tevez in my oppinion,as i said i hope im wrong but i have noticed alot of things about ssn just like other posters on here

I realised that with ssn aswell pal but think we take that with a pinch of salt, as for Valdano he wanted to keep Pelligrini and look what happened to him. According to revista de la liga they said that Valdano organised a meeting to convince the board and Perez that Pelligrini was the man to guide Real forward but once Perez makes his mind up then that is it. Like with the Kaka and Ronaldo deals, he outlined he wanted them no matter what and he got them so if he says that he wants Higuain out because either hes not good enough or they dont want to increase his wages then its bye bye to Gonzalo

why have they been so stupid as to marginalise him and piss him off if they are so keen to keep him?

they use us as a tool to get higuain back on side with the madrid board. what happens is madrid talk to us say that higuain may leave are you interested, we send representitives (because we want to be seen as professional now) over so it looks like we want to buy not that madrid want to sell, madrid say he is not for sale he is in our future plans, higuain then feels respected and happy as he is considered part of the future plans for one of the worlds biggest clubs and then signs the contract for the wage that madrid offer.

This. Pellegrini said recently he wanted to keep Sneijder and Robben, and look what happened.

Here is the article for you .

With all the names that have started to pop out of the hat, do you guys really still hold weight with the Milner story? Deluded the lot of you!!
Just what exactly do you think that this failed and very average LW, recently converted into CM can bring to us (even before we sign any of the names recently mentioned) that we do not already have. He is an average box-box that admittedly scored a few this year, but he ain't the greatest passer of the ball, ain't the best tackler in the world and can't cross for toffee, all of which he proved the other night!

He has had 1 good season for Christ sake! Stevie had one of them, and then look what happened.

a little frightening that, in all of the names mentioned in that Guardian article, only 1 is a defender...
