I will never forgive them though demolishing Stalybridge Town Hall.

My first job, a work experience placement, was in Stalybridge town hall, building was condemned and we relocated to the new civic centre offices in Arseton. The town hall was a stunning building in its day but properly bolloxed when it was closed and demolished. Looking back it would surely have been listed, so probably something a bit iffy went on

Lived in bridge for around 15 years and still go back now and then, sad to say it's an absolute shithole. The saving grace is the station buffet bar but apart from that it's full of druggies and wrong uns, you notice it more once you move away, even bridge Celtic have turned to shit.
How it's won an award if any kind is a miracle
