What's the deal with the 4 year contracts? I thought previously we'd done 5 years but Savic and Clichy seem to be on 4 years? With amortisation doesn't it make sense to have a longer contract especially with FFP?

Anyhoo welcome to Manchester Stefan. Great to see we are getting seemingly decent players without spending a fortune.

They have learned from the Bridge, RSC, Ade deals etc...

But Clichy and Savic will be great for us..<3

Ageed. And if after two years they are playing well, they can get a new 4 year contract. I bet they think 5 years is just too long for a footballer.

Had to listen to yet another interview from behind the sofa - These Mavis Riley interviews are unique in that they manage to be both cringeworthy and yet extremely dull.

Never lived in the UK - only 20 and speaks perfect English (the player - not the excuse for an interviewer) - Take note Tevez

I cannot believe the club still use that interviewer... is there no way to let the club know how embarrassing and cringe-worthy these interviews are?

You have to admit that combining these two qualities is a unique talent.

Its a wonder that after these interviews the player is not on to his agent to see if there is any possibility of backing out of his contract

Was it Boateng's interview where he asked him how he felt to play in the same position as Micah Richards? What the...?

I think it's time we started a petition to get Mike Wedderburn from Sky!!

After all he must be sick of working with all those rags!!

Just putting it out there lads...

What questions would you want him to ask?

I can understand the cringe but i'm not too sure what people want to hear. I think his trying to get viewers to understand what type of person Savic is.

I think he just asks simple questions because he doesn't want them both to get lost in translation.

He is also a City fan. But it seems like he asks fan questions sometimes...not questions you should ask in his first interview.

With Boateng..he is porbably a Richards fan and was worried Boateng will overtake him. Thats why he asked it..:D

He could put more enthusiasm and personality into it
It's his delivery
The bit where he almost silently farts out - have you been to Manchester before - is it how you expected?
