Rubbish again today. Like was said, people are blinded by his half a season of being good, when we had threads calling for him to be up with the high earners like Robinho FFS.

Schalke away was one of the finest individual performances I have ever seen from a City player. Certainly rivals any of Silva's. Ireland just disappeared up his own arse at an early age. Ended up regretting it though, didn't he?St Helens Blue (Exiled) said:quiet_riot said:Rubbish again today. QR-You are so right. I for one can only remember the last minute winner he scored for us against Reading at home as the only thing he actually did for us. Totally overated and even struggling to look good in a poor Villa team says it all.

Well done city fans. Three players who gave their all

Yes, he slagged us off when we sold him, but I honestly think that was because he was gutted, knowing he had blown the biggest opportunity he will ever have in his career.
It's like being dumped by a woman you really like or even love. You will rant and rave about her and call her every name under the sun for a bit, but after a while you will get over yourself.
To be honest, I thought he was one of Villa's better players in the first half but he looked a broken man and close to tears when he went off.
