not really all that arsed about them,
but i'm good pals with andy thorpe, so i look out for their results.
he says that what's going on behind the scenes at the club is very promising,
at least one local team isn't going under.

rivalries aside,
the demise of working class clubs like oldham, and now rochdale,
it can't be a good thing for the area in footballing terms.
it doesn't feel right, they're all within 10 miles of manchester city centre.
a lot of us have family and friends who support these teams.
