Stockport v Salford is there a difference?

Salford, Stockport, Oldham or Rochdale what does it matter, the 2 biggest Blues i know for attending matches only have slight family connections to Manchester, one is from Leicester and the other lives in Newton le Willows, they go to EVERY match home and away and every friendly whether in this country or anywhere in the world, i believe ther is an Aussie tour coming up they are making plans for that already
When our lot get together for matches there are usually about 20 of us, not one actually lives in the City of Manchester the outskirts yes but not the center, i think i live the nearest and that is Urmston
It does not matter we are all Blues

The only city in the country without a professional football team!
apart from Bath, Canterbury, Chelmsford, Chester, Chichester, Durham, Ely, Gloucester, Hereford, Lancaster, Lichfield, City of London, Ripon, Salisbury, St Albans, Truro, Wakefield, Wells, City of Westminster, Winchester, Worcester and Coventry now! Not sure if Lincoln City and Cambridge United are still professional. But apart from them Salford is the only city without a professional football team;-)

I can't believe that some people get so defensive about where they come from. I'm from Salford and will happily admit that the place is a complete shithole and the only good thing about the place is that its very close to Manchester city centre. Also growing up in Swinton I would say that a good 80% are United fans however the 20% of City fans actually go to the games and follow the club rather than jumping on the bandwagon.

The largest proportion of season ticket holders from both City and Rags live in Trafford. M33 postcode, which is Sale.

Fact.

How does 'anybody' get hold of a football club's season ticket database to see where folk live?

It's easy Dave... You get unlimited access to every piece of information in the universe by writing 'fact' at the end of your post.

The problem is that your brain explodes due to information overload.

Fact.
