Skill advantage negated!? Tell that to the Stoke front 3.......the conditions were horrendous and any skill advantage was negated , but stoke wanted it more , our players just didnt want to be there , if stoke had won 6-0 we couldnt have complained , how Mp can get so little out of a squad of players like this is really unfathomable . MP is papering over the cracks , on paper it looks OK , semi finals league cup , qualified for europe , top of the league , but this squad is only producing 50% of what they are capable of , we should be winning this league in a canter , topping the champs league groups , and playing our fringe players in the league cup and still getting to the final , the buck stops with the manager.
Like the Liverpool game there's not one positive I can take from that game.
Injuries have totally fucked us. We put a lot into the Hull game-being unable to score the second meant Silva had to stay on too long. Players like Ferny and Sagna need a rest but won't get one. Stoke were much fresher. Impossible to get back into the game in those conditions. Not sure how things will improve until we get players fit.
Its not good mate and i cant help but feel that in our quest as a club to land a certain manager, we are busy hanging every other fucker out to dry.
