Stoke Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

you have to feel for stoke fans, they don't like the non football thuggery any better than we do. they jump for joy if more than one player gets in our half, a corner sends them in to dreamland.
they have absolutely no ambition whatsoever, they simply launch it and hope for the best.
cheating their own fans out of the entrance money.

as for the result mr clattenburg hang your head in shame, you were a disgrace to your profession.

Second away game where we have not matched our opponents in either work rate or desire

Needs to be sorted quickly do not understand why we have been out muscled for long periods of our two recent away games

RM could be a shocker

-- Sat Sep 15, 2012 6:56 pm --

Second away game where we have not matched our opponents in either work rate or desire

It always hurts when you come so close to winning a game, but hey, I think it was important not to lose the match. Stoke away is a bogey games for us. Looks like Crouch handled before he scored.
Of the first 4 games, having Stoke and Liverpool away is a tough cookie. We are coming along nicely. Onwards and upwards.

Crouch handled not once but twice and the blind linesman totally ignored it!! I was right behind the goal, on the front row and it was the most blatant hand ball(s) ever!!

I enjoyed the match today, thought the substitutions were spot on and we were unlucky in the dying seconds when we could have had 2 more goals.

The new guys seem to be settling; Nasri, as always, ran his little socks off and even Balo was doing well, love the way Vinnie sped across the pitch in the second half when Balo was brought down. It was like ............ ok Mario, don't worry, keep calm, I'll sort it!! :-)

The speed on the wings was awesome at times and bodes well for the future. My MOTM was Clichy, that lad is so cool and he just gets on with the job in hand and is a great asset.

We played better at Stoke today than last season.....still quite pleased with a point. City are still champions, playing at Real on Tuesday, we've got some amazing players... Now, got a nice M&S Hot Chicken Tikka Masala curry and rice for tea with a couple of Sainsburys Chicken Tikka samosa .....life could be a heck of a lot worse (and it has been)

You should write speeches for the government. Well said and Bon appetit!

LOL Cheers mate! I know it's obvious but we've come a long way in the last few years, losing 8 at Middlesborough seems a long time ago. Got a few bottles of Stella as well just chilling.

Just seen that we have won 5 of our last 15 away games.... we really are a different team away from home

The linesman wasn't on the front row behind the goal though so will have had a completely different view to you. He might not have seen it at all.
