Stoke Vs City Post Match Discussion Thread

Mancini had time and time with the team more than Pele. i remember when Mancini went to Stoke for the time we got beaten and the second time we went there again we couldn't string some passes together as a team but for us we seems to be behaving like children is new to the world of football, we have seen this scenario before as new managers coming in to a new league with something to prove will definitely have uncertainty with his work.just support the manager and let him feel the support of the fans as a family. we will see by the end of the first round of football we'll be smiling with flying colors.

Only read the first 3 pages. Hope to fook there's some irony in most of them comments. I expected a tough game there. It seems, however that, lots of you didn't. That lots of you expect us to be knocking seven shades out of everyone. The likes of Stoke, Cardiff and Hull, have all earned the right to play in the premier league. With the amount injuries we have and a Champions League game comin up on tuesday, I think it's a crackin result at Stoke. Not pretty, but a very good point. Go and support Barca or Bayern FFS!
So you didnt see the game then

No mate, I was stood on the touchline myself, coaching my U15's to a 4-2 victory in Germany. My point is, all this negativity and this early stage of the season. Let's see how it goes first. If we lose in europe, lose against the rags and then Wigan and Villa, then I'll be flappin too. We never win at Stoke.

Where they boos that I heard on SSN?
Just got back so not read the rest yet but Stoke fans spend much of their time booing when the opposition have the ball. They get louder after three or four passes as they can't count much higher and don't like passing football.

the writing was on the wall pre season if we are honest.

the problem is its not that hard to see where we are going wrong which is why its bemusing as to why Pellers is persisting with it

Yeah, heard that interview on the way home and it was a genuine WTF? moment, we've got problems if he really believes that.

Agree it was like the Cardiff post match interview! Might be we just use to Mancini telling us like it is no bullshit..
Keep the bollockings behind closed doors - surely we´ve learned that lesson - I just hope that´s his reasoning behind those comments

Yeah agree but then us as fans read what pelegrini says and think WTF

We should be beating Stoke and not playing so piss poor though.

for the love of christ just bench kun. overrated, never passes, and is living off his form from 2 seasons ago. and we need to invest in a specialist diver the scum cant play football but they win due to diving ...
"Bench Kun"? That will be the same Kun that watched the first hour from the bench will it?

We didn't play well - who's saying we did

My grumble with the critics is they entirely miss the context? i.e The entire first choice defence out at a tough away ground

People keep saying this. Since when were Nastasic and Zabaleta NOT first choice??

Can't understand how we've gone backwards. More fight in the cup final than there has been this season Newcastle aside
