There used to be a pub on Hyde Road (I think) called the Traveller's Inn which, when we went to go in, had a sign on the door that read 'No Travellers Allowed'.

Yes called in there few times after game if I ever got the bus back cheap as but bit strange :-)

Two Lagers FOC’s may remember, Sam Smith’s lager Ayingerbrau (spelling?) and Oldham Breweries lager Alpine, about mid 70’s onwards, remember the latter had a green and blue pump bit it’s nearly 50 years ago and my memory may be playing tricks.

Had cans of that on the HMS Wilton (a “plastic” minesweeper) that docked in Amsterdam in the early 80’s, long story but a right laugh with some Navy lads including a lad from Glossop called Tommy Cooper!

Remember in the 70's we went to a pub called The Wrecker, Chadderton I think. They had these little live crocodiles.
Then we literally wrecked the car on the way home.

The Ranelagh Tavern on Ranelagh Street, Liverpool is hilarious. I last visited for a quick one pre-Morrissey and the usual characters were in. A man in his 70’s with shoulder length hair, cowboy boots and a waistcoat was a stonker. Early karaoke etc.
