Stuart Brennan. MEN.

I read comments by quite a few people on Wednesday night after half time. Stuart Brennan tweeted that somebody at City had just told him that Sergio was injured when he was susbtituted.

Can anyone substantiate this please and if it is true then why did he say it?

Aguero is fine - it was agreed beforehand he would only play 45 minutes.

Hearing Tyler and Quinn's doom-laden commentary on Wednesday on Man City's game had the collective enthusiasm of two pensioners sat in a bus stop bemoaning a rainy day. A ray of sunshine, a rainbow, per chance, would occasionally emerge from both when the opposing team attacked. Contrast that to the commentary for the swamp rats' European ties where they are not objectively commentated on but positively cheerleaded and gushed about. I laughed when Quinn's long suffering attempt at neutrality slipped and announced out loud, "Oh dear!" when Pzlen narrowly missed a chance to score.

I recorded the match as I was in work. Sat down to watch and FF through to match.
Just in time to hear Tyler rambling on and bemoaning our away form. What the fuck
that had to do with anything. Talk about a negative spin.

At least this weekend, i'll get to watch it on a stream and most probably get to brush up on my Russian ;-).

You know when things are going tits up,when Spencer has to "climb aboard" and throw his tuppenceworth in and asking questions he wouldn`t have dared to try had Old Pissy Face still been in charge.
They`ve had it so good for so many years, now the shits hit the fan (not a pun) they have no realism as to how to act.
Good old Wee Davey, keep it going son.

Only the MEN could publish a City v Barca preview with more references to United than either City or Barca.

I can live with that, where I have to draw the line is when one of their journalists sneers, on Twitter, at a City supporters group based in Barca by asking "What have you ever written?" As if Andy Mitten, who writes like an aspirational, if slightly dim-witted 15 year old hoping for a C in their GCSEs has produced an informative piece that can't be beaten.

The purpose of a preview isn't prose, language and grammar; it's information and to show that kind of attitude to an individual that could have produced an informative piece for City fans that are travelling to the game just shows the contempt it treats part of its readership with.

I will be cancelling all advertising in this paper, and it's sister publications at the first opportunity.

If Mitten has written the article then he has never hidden the fact he`s a Rag.Couldn`t give a fuck what he has to write as its always about United so I`m delighted that we`ve even had a slight mention from him.
