they probably would have printed it as a full page ad, ****s :(GazC said:Only the MEN could publish a City v Barca preview with more references to United than either City or Barca.
I can live with that, where I have to draw the line is when one of their journalists sneers, on Twitter, at a City supporters group based in Barca by asking "What have you ever written?" As if Andy Mitten, who writes like an aspirational, if slightly dim-witted 15 year old hoping for a C in their GCSEs has produced an informative piece that can't be beaten.
The purpose of a preview isn't prose, language and grammar; it's information and to show that kind of attitude to an individual that could have produced an informative piece for City fans that are travelling to the game just shows the contempt it treats part of its readership with.
I will be cancelling all advertising in this paper, and it's sister publications at the first opportunity.
salfordpaul said:A disgrace and the laziest piece of journalism in tonights Evening News celebrating the merits of our youth cup winning boys 1986. David Boyd spelt differently within the article, City scout Eric Mulliner is called Mullender, Steve Compton the goalie is called Crompton, Andy Thackeray spelt differently on picture to the article. Bone idol neglect for a fine group of Men happy to be remembered in our local paper for a great achievement and The Journo litters it with poor, poor shoddy work probably ignorant to his amateur delivery. please someone tell him we expect better for our 55p and for our hero's.

I haven't read it, but if someone else wants to start I don't mind joining in.
