Stuart Pearce

Went to a corporate event in a hotel in london where Pearce and Kevin Keegan were guest speakers along side Paul Merson and chappers. After their set Pearce couldn't get out fast enough ignoring people who wanted photos etc and the ones that got one he didn't smile once the one miserable tosser, the other two duly obliged whilst making their way out stsying half an hour or so. Kevin Keegan was still there 4 hours later when I went to bed. He went round every table and had a drink/chat/photos etc his problem was when he thought he was out the door the last 2 tables were full of Newcastle fans who were trying to book him a room.

Tbh who the fuck would want to have a lengthy chat with Stuart Pearce lol. I bet the feeling was mutual.

Keegan on the other hand I imagine is really good company and is probably a very nice bloke.

I’d just want to take a video of him recreating his infamous “I’d love it” rant - BRILLIANT

I think it’s a shame that some ex managers aren’t treated with the same reverence as ex players by the club. It’s like once you’ve been “sacked” as a manager that’s it, you’ve never existed.

Obviously your Pearce’s and your Hughes’s need permanently deleting from history but the likes of Royle, Keegan, Mancini, Sven etc should be invited back for the fans on City Sq or YouTube or whatever.

I won a trip to Carrington to watch the team train and meet Keegan. He was superb. Can't believe it happened now,

No Jim I've been going to watch City since 1973 but for me his poor style of football was right up there with all those you mentioned, if not worse than some of them because he had better players.

Watching City under Pearce was like watching football with all the joy stripped out of it, under Ball it was like watching football with all the intelligence removed and under Clark like watching a team that had had its sanity stripped away. They were all an endurance test, but for different reasons.

Spot on, how the fuck does he get work, must have a good agent, absolute tosser as a manager, tosser as a pundit, and is the most boring fucker on talk sport ( apart from that welsh me me me ex utd dean saunders, or DEANO as they call him fucking deano, how old is he. utter shite, going down the nick talk sport, as is sky .
Dean Saunders ex utd? News to me. Ex Liverpool , Derby & Villa

Pearce is a miserable fucker who’s not got a clue on tactics, he said the other day why slab head is a brilliant leader and lots of clubs would love to have him in there teams. That sentence alone shows what he knows and that’s fuck all.
