Today, I painted the front gate. When finished, I cleaned the brushes and put everything away, then realised I's missed a bit off the top rail (the part where I'd be holding the gate). Had to go through all the clean up business again. Should probably have junked the brush!

Some young driver ploughed through my gate and, to avoid an insurance claim, her father agreed to pay for a new one. The local carpenters ripped him off.

Having to phone the bank. Co-op bank in particular. Their website and app are shite, and have been for years. If you want to sort out anything slightly unusual, you have to call the bank and then wait a good 40-50 minutes.

We crossed the country just a little and someone told me i don't need a vignette for that piece of road, but it turned out to be different.
