Stupid little things that bug you

People who say “ can I get” when they are ordering things in public like food or drink.
May I buy you a drink?
Was at a concert last week (Justin Hayward, Moody Blues) where this twat whooped at the start of every song, then during every song she stood making twisty writhing motions that started in her shoulders and traveled to her wrists & fingers in what she thought was keeping time to the music. Must have thought she was still at Woodstock, even pissed off the missus who's less curmudgeonly than me.
Yes!! and people whooping at concerts during wonderfully constructed complex slower softer parts that are meant to take you on journey's away from the stress of every day life and all you can think of is assault, and you can even see the artist cringe.

It is way lame, isn't it? Drunk fans at some sporting events make them better. Decidedly NOT golf.
Hi brother, I'm up in BC Can, we have been to Frisco a few times on Vaycay and spent time all over the region, it's all gorgeous. Especially the Pebble Beach, 17 mile drive area.
Dametra's Cafe in Carmel, love it. We would like to spend a good portion of each retirement year in Pacific Grove.
So on a serious note I hope all is well with you and everyone you know in wake of the fires near Sonoma, we loved it there, tragic, take care.

Thanks mate, I love BC as well. Stunning part of the world.

I'm probably a 60 minute drive (south) from the fires but as last year and the year before the smoke has made its way into San Francisco now and you can smell it; out my office window it's beginning to get hazy. Got word our power will be out this weekend too but better that than my house getting burned down.

In Aldi you approach the checkouts with 1 item . The fat twat in front of you with a trolley with everything from milk to a microwave looks at your 1 item and then pretends they have gone blind. Having placed your item behind their procession of crap the tannoy announces ."Ladies and Gentlemen we are opening till 3". A surge of humanity sprints past you to till 3 . Bad manners are now a way of life.

"Ooooh ooooh ooohhh Bob lad after spending an eternity letting all those nice young men through before us with just the one item now at long long last it's finally our turn to get served !"

"But Nellyonthewings behind us luv and he only has the one item"

"Fook the scrawny twat lad and just play daft and blind"

Did anyone notice the moral to this story that sometimes we have to look at the bigger picture as sometimes all is not as it may seem : /

If you mean the suspended lane past Salford Royal, the whole road is a nightmare with lanes filtering left and right and intermittent bus lanes all causing drivers problems.[/QUOTE

That's the one Mike.. You're not that big guy tryin' to cut in the other day that I didn't let in are you? Haha!!

It's a nightmare mate, takes longer to get to Gilderbrook roundabout sometimes than it takes me to get to junction 9 on the 62...
Grrrrr!!

Nooo not me. Like everyone else too busy to keep to my own lane safely without cutting into anyone elses and then get on to M602 to pass the rag pilgrimage shrine where Ferguson had a crap.

What colour car do you drive?... I'll let you in if you find yourself in the wrong lane if I see you... Haha!!
