I had an Amazon parcel delivered last week.Wasn't sure if I'd be out so I asked a neighbour if she'd be in and she said yes so I updated the delivery instructions to reflect this. I was in but by the time I'd got to the door (ten seconds maybe) the driver had gone and left my parcel on the doorstep. What's the point of adding delivery instructions on the web site if the driver ignores them (or doesn't even look which is what I imagine happened)? My partner had a parcel delivered while she was out in yesterday's monsoon, again a neighbour had offered to accept it. When she got home the parecl was on the floor absolutely pissed wet through. If it had been anything electrical it would have been ruined!
That's because you're full of crumpets! ; )I am in all the time but very slow to get up and to the door so i have a note on the door that i am slow so they can knock and leave it on the doorstep , works well unless it is something like kitchen knives and they have to check my age
When filling in address details I always type on the second line for "Please Leave Rear Porch".I had an Amazon delivery guy knock on the other week and give me less than 10 seconds to get to the door.
Our blue bin is outside at the front and they always put stuff in there. I went into the room, opened the window and I have a photo of it being delivered in the bin with me giving him a thumbs up in the background.
I said to him that it’d have been quicker to wait for me to answer the door than this nonsense.
I get they’re under mega pressure, but the amount of time they allow you to get to the door is crazy.
Yeah, why do they do that?when thursday is forecast as a day when it might potentially rain.

My local one only ever has max two check outs open and no staff in the store to ask where things are , hate going in there but they do banging fresh breadYou would think a large supermarket such as Lidl would have a Customer Service Desk.
I had to wait almost 10 minutes at check-out while a lady tried to get a refund on something she had bought earlier that week, but had no receipt or P-of-P. When the store supervisor finally got involved, she didn't take the customer to one side but kept arguing at the checkout point.
One other open till had large tailback and my stuff was already spread all over the counter.
thankfully, the tossers have changed their minds nowYeah, why do they do that?
Stops you doing things then it's sunny all day.

They are cheap because they dont employ enough people.
My daughter raves about their in-store bakery but my local doesn't do, what I would term a normal square shaped loaf, (you know, for morning toast and sandwiches). Maybe it's my age?My local one only ever has max two check outs open and no staff in the store to ask where things are , hate going in there but they do banging fresh bread
Opportunity knocks !thankfully, the tossers have changed their minds now
or i would indeed have stayed in and been disappointed.
