I always drive in and reverse out.
It's quicker to point the car and park to keep the rest of the road clear for others to flow, easily to load and when reversing out gives a larger area to reverse into....some people really a big area to reverse into and should consider the above as it takes them forever to get into a space.
Just see so many cars having to reverse out of spaces in car parks causing murders, disrupting the flow of traffic, they don’t have a clear line of sight so pull out in people, etc. etc. execution probably harsh for a first offender so maybe 3 strikes and your outWhy is that?

Note: Yanks always used to drive in and reverse out due to the sheer length of their cars leading to lots of damage to car park walls if they reversed in. Reversing sensors should reduce that these days.

Oh god, there’s alway that pair that swim side by side chatting swimming slow that your stuck behindI encounter the same issues. I'm too fast for the slow lane and too slow for the fast lane so always head for "medium".
I'm always faced with people with no spatial awareness, in that they are slow, but don't give way at the end of lengths for faster swimmers, or too fast for the lane and they go all "passive aggressive".
And I've had some interesting scenarios at the Aquatics Centre in Manchester where some of the Chinese students don't seem to understand the concept of clockwise and anti-clockwise.
My pet hate though is people using the pool to chat, whether it be those hogging the end of the lane to have inane conversations, or middle aged women swimming in parallel really slowly gibbering away and hogging the whole lane. Just go to a café or a pub if you want to chat about the price of fish!

Actually, I do tend to reverse in as I find it more difficult to drive into a parking space unless there’s a wide turning circle. I find it a pain in the neck though when the car in the space behind has parked within inches of my boot and I have to put my shopping on the back seat or move my car forward. I usually find that it’s a man who’s driven that car;)This.

disgraceful - I agree with you 100%Over two weeks ago me and another bloke pulled two people out of the harbour. The woman was easy to pull out but the bloke was hard, we couldn't lift him. Luckily another bloke came along and the 3 of us pulled him out.
At this time of year that's two life's saved. We organised the ambulance etc. Got blankets and carried out first aid
The thing that bugs me is that not one of them have said thanks. It might sound bad but if it was my life saved I would go out of my way to thank them.
Still I guess it takes all sorts, wouldn't stop me from doing it again, it was just luck that I heard a faint shout of help. I didn't save them to get a pat on the back but a thank you would have been nice
