Suarez wont come to City. But I'd love to see him here. I don't get the ethics brigade. You know nothing about the man. Don't even go there. The very fact you dowhen you don't know him destroys your argument in one.

The biggest asset in sport is will power. There are some players who when they cross that line give everything no matter what the game. Suarez, Barton, Tevez are the 3 best examples of that. Pure coincidence that they are shrouded in controversy

I agree with you. The truth is, none of us know anything about him, or his personal life. Drogba was painted with a negative image, yet he does some great charity work in Africa. Same with Bellamy, and his football academy in Sierra Leone. He's a player that would benefit our team, so I would have him. Saying you won't have purely because "he's a twat" is silly reasoning. If Balotelli played for another club, many on here (probably the same who defend him to the hilt) would be calling him a twat. How will he drag the clubs name through the dirt, if he joined? His previous stuff (biting, Evra) was with somebody else. In the eyes of many neutrals, we're seen as buying success, and not doing it the 'right way', we're hardly everyone's second favourite club, or seen as ethical and moral. Balotelli is viewed by many as an idiot, who gives the club negative headlines. He's the most hated player? For everyone who hates, there's probably much more, who buy a shirt with his name on, have posters of him, cheer him on, and if he joined, they would may start watching City because of him.

Pity because he would be perfect for our team...

IMO we play it too fair, we need someone who will keep the opposition defenders busy...

Any top team needs a player like Suarez.

Sorry............but i have to draw the line at this 'win at all costs' attitude. I have been a City supporter all my life and it has never been all about winning. sure its nice to win but it is not the be all and end all of being a City supporter as far as i am concerned. Plus I dont see how we can "play it too fair".

I would rather win things playing by the rules than 'not playing fair' and winning.

Suarez has plenty of history that is sufficient for me to judge he is not an individual who i would want to see in a City shirt whether he improves the team or not.
 
Maybe the left hand and right hand should talk to each other a little more often.

This story originally came from City as far as I'm aware.

Also ... I think there was plenty of "don't want him at our club" when we signed Bellamy.

Suarez is by all accounts a model pro on the training pitch, lives his life the right way, keeps his head down and works hard. You may not like what he does on the field, but that's because he doesn't play for us. If he did it'd be different ...
