Holgate is average. Stones is a much better player.

Ake is an improvement if we bag him, and HG. And versatile.Holgate is average. Stones is a much better player.
buying English players for the sake of it makes no sense. If we do there are plenty of English player who are quality and could do a good job. Ben white being the main one at centre back

I don’t rate him personally. I’ve watched Bournemouth quite a few times this season and he’s been average. Good at passing, not so much at defending

Intersting that in the article in the MUEN aobut Sancho not retuning (pep sounded very adamant on that one) he also mentioned replacing Kompany and SILVA - now for at least a year Pep hsa said that Foden would be his replacement, so this is either a slip of the tongue by Pep, something lost in translation or maybe he is thinking we do need something else as well as Foden. He has also recently mentioned Sane unique qualities - maybe it was Pep just paying him compliments but maybe he is thinking we do need something else ( a differnt style of player)
