Super Joey Hart?

Keep Hart, promote Gunn to no.2.

Get Eric Steele out of retirement to help Joe with distribution.

Doing the above frees up another 'foreign' player spot rather than losing another which is the outcome from the OP's post.

Cant say I agree or disagree with the Eric Steele part but the rest is spot on !

Thought he had a reverse Fernando today. Fernando had a very good match with one shockingly shit moment, whereas Hart had a pretty poor match with one fantastic moment. I don't attach much blame to him for the first goal, although it was a completely pointless thing to do as Fernando had absolutely nothing positive he could have done with it and is surrounded by three men in any direction he might want to turn, it is still almost entirely Fernando's fault for not rolling it straight back to Hart and making him kick it.

His refusal to even try and catch the ball under any circumstance annoys me endlessly though and it just keeps attacks alive and gives the other team more chances. When a keeper catches it it completely lifts the pressure and is a huge boost to the whole team. He seems to have lost all confidence in his ability to catch even the most routine of balls under no pressure

Did Hart not tell Fernando to pass to the right back... his pointing looked like it did. Fern with his back to play knew better ?

That wouldn't have been much of an idea either with Cavani waiting for him to do that. PSG were essentially set in a trap for Fernando, where he was surrounded if he did anything but play it back to Hart, but Hart didn't see that and passed it to him anyway, then Fernando wasn't aware enough either and got caught out.

Thought Hart was at fault for both goals and his inability to catch the ball led to the penalty, Saying that it was a stupid freekick by Clichy in the first place.

So its Harts fault that Ibrahimovich is offside? Admittedly I still think Joe would have made the same save but he was offside and in Joe's line of sight, attempted to play the ball and is therefore offside

A poor decision, a cock up - call it what you will. No excuses - we gifted them a goal out of nothing. All said and done, Joe made a big cock-up, but made a wonderful penalty save to give us a chance of progressing. Shit happens, but let's move on.

If people think the first was Joe Harts fault then he'll be making a lot of mistakes next season when every goal kick is short.

Jesus Christ, some of you need to have a serious word with yourselves if you think Hart was in any way to blame for that Fernando fuck up.

He does need to catch it more though.
