and on three occasions this year/season, the supporters club asked if we would like more away tickets then we got DUE TO THE FACT SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WASNT BUYING THEM.

AND ALSO WHAT ABOUT POINTS WHORES WHO BUY TICKETS AND SELL THEM ON BECAUSE THEY JUST WANT POINTS

No problem with that but all those people would have got them anyway.

You'll need more than god to get you a ticket!

This subject rears its ugly head only when tickets are not so easy to come by. Each SC has its own rules, but it wouldnt survive long if it was not at least fair to the most loyal and deserving of its members. There will be a percentage given for all games from the club. This is to keep our national and even international support involved. At the moment ive moved down south and am in a SC and i'll challenge anyone to say they deserve a ticket more than me. No i'm not a season card holder now, but have had one for 25 years. A game for me and my 10 year old costs £200 including travelling. You cant begin to understand the planning, holidays off work, grief off the Mrs for the sums involved for a football match, but we do it as often as possible because we are Blues. And yes i am from Manchester as are my kids, even though they now sound a bit strange :). Lets look forward to Wembley, my first visit to the new one, after 5 at the old one, and my lads first. When i told him he'd got a ticket he spent the next 10 minutes singing all the songs at the top of his voice, including the " it's only 6-1" song, luckily his mum was at work. I understand peoples frustrations but its always been like this since at least the 70's when we had even more branches. Hope were all smiling next saturday night.

I deserve a ticket more than you.

we have had a open admission on this forum tonight that people have received tickets for the cup final regardless of loyalty points due to the fact that they were " active" members of their supporters club , now people are angry at the club for the cup scheme for which the criteria was made obvious from day 1, yet no body is bothered about the more obvious flouting of the rule that is the supporters clubs applying for tickets and giving them to whoever they want

Absolute crap! Suggest you get your facts right before making such wild accusations. ANY member of a supporters club still needs to fit the criteria of loyalty points and affiliation.

Absolute crap

my boss is the chairman of a supporters club in the gtr Manchester area

he went to the semi and he's going to the final,he only got a season ticket last year 2011 - 2012 season, before that he went most games on freebies via his connections, he doesn't do aways ,probably be on abt 1200 points max.he was moaning to me 10 days ago that his club havn't received enough tickets they requested for the final and that most of them were £85 which they were all unhappy abt cheeky sods.

me,i missed out,on 3100 points, not on the cup scheme but been to all home games, cant commit to any of the schemes cos of work, yet been to all cup and champions league this season including the dire villa league cup debacle.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The supporters club requests tickets and is given an allocation for any match.

The members with high points get tickets in their own right, whilst the allocated tickets are assigned to members with low points likely not to get them.

It seems like a floored system and easy to sort out.

I already have one mate, just saying I deserve one more, unless he went to York away.
